Jesus was hated without a cause. Jesus warns His followers, who faithfully testify about Jesus, that they will experience the same treatment. The temptation is to say nothing about Jesus because we want people to like us, not hate us. That is unloving. People need to hear the truth about Christ's kingdom ,and have the opportunity to be reconciled to Him, before judgement day comes. To help us testify Jesus has given us His Holy Spirit.
