How important it is to have a good father! God is the best Father. How do we know if He is our Father? John gives us 3 tests: we keep His commandments, we love His children and want to meet with them, and we believe Jesus is the Son of God and Christ. We can apply these tests to ourselves and to the people around us. Many have rejected God because they think Christianity is all about going to church, and they think church is something pointless. True children of God need to show them something different!
