Moses invites his brother-in-law to share in the good things God has promised to Israel. The good things God promises the church include value, purpose, community, belonging and hope. Why would we not invite people to church? To do so we need the power of speech, confidence, faith, and open mind, the fear of God, normality and excited enthusiasm. We analyse each of these in turn and conclude that we have no excuse for not inviting. Let's do it!
