God used Paul to establish the church at Thessalonica within the space of just a few weeks, according to Acts 17v1-10. Why did the church not fall apart after Paul had been compelled by persecution to move on? Because he got them connected directly to Jesus, rather than depending on him to connect them to Jesus. Are we dependent on others to keep us in touch with Jesus or are we connected directly to the living Jesus?
