As we close this series on David’s sin with Bathsheba and its consequences we follow through on the story in the next few chapters.
We see David has lost authority. He has a criminal record in the eyes of others. His family have lost their respect for him. They in turn repeat his sins. It becomes very messy. Early promise is disappointed.
Oh, why does God allow human sin? Why does He put Himself to the trouble of it? In conclusion we attempt an answer to that question.
