We know the story of Jesus arrives at joy, but the road there is not smooth.
We follow the disciples, especially Peter, on the journey to joy.
We see how we make finding joy in suffering very difficult.
And so Easter Friday and Saturday are harrowing and joyless.
And our suffering may be the same.
Time to believe the promises of Jesus and come out into joy, even in suffering.
He is risen as He said He would be. What else has He said that we will have joy in believing?
