Faultless?

Passage: Philippians 3:1-14
Service Type:

Saul of Tarsus is probably the most significant figure in the early church apart from Jesus Himself.
His dramatic change of direction after meeting Jesus on the Damascus Road stands out as a huge event in Christian history.
What led up to it? What happened? Why was it so important then and is still now?
We aim to answer these questions over the next few weeks.
Today we see how Saul thought he was faultless before he met Jesus.
In time he would come to see he was in fact the worst sinner.
Do we have illusions about our own goodness that we need to escape so we can embrace Jesus’ goodness?
