This message accompanies a Lent study many in the church have been following: Robin Ham's book Finding Mercy on the Way of Sorrow, which takes us through the book of Lamentations.
We have not found it easy going as it pulls no punches in describing life after a brutal military operation by the Babylonian army in which Judea and Jerusalem have been destroyed, as punishment by the Lord for their centuries-long unfaithfulness to Him.
In this message we relate the history then to the history behind what Jesus said as He entered Jerusalem on "Palm Sunday" and look also to our own day.
We see how Jesus' words are fulfilled and how we have nothing permanent if we do not have Jesus ourselves.
