When we act like we can judge God's wisdom or character in relation to the things that happen in the world or in our lives, we easily get into difficulty in our relationship with God. This happened to Job. He came to the wrong conclusions about God's character and wisdom in relation to his suffering, and ended up having to repent in dust and ashes. We have an advantage over Job in that we can see the wisdom and character of God in Jesus. We will always end up justifying God, so let us do it straight away, especially when we can't make sense of what is happening.
