What senseless violence there is in the world! Much of it is committed during wars.
We can read Mark 14, 15 and be shocked at how much senseless violence Jesus suffered from His arrest to the crucifixion.
It was senseless and wrong, yet Jesus allowed it. Can violence have a purpose? Can God use violence to achieve good ends?
