We're going to look at a family we meet in the gospels and their experience of knowing Jesus.
Today we introduce the family and their culture regarding the role of women. We see how two sisters took different approaches to their culture and Jesus. One let the culture dominate her behaviour and ended up questioning Jesus' care and telling Jesus what to do! The other recognised that even although Jesus was in her house, He was still the host! We see how it all works out and how it challenges the culture of our families and of our society.
