We usually think about the gospel in terms of Jesus. The New Testament uses the phrase "The Gospel of God" as often as the phrase "The Gospel of Jesus (Christ)".
Gospel means "good news". Do we think of God as good news? Is God our good news?
We think about why we may not see this, and how Jesus did see this.
We set our sights on the goodness of God and seek to seek it clearly. We want to be rid of the lies which prevent us from rejoicing in God Himself.
