We haven't learned to stop war. We have conflict because we want things we can't get. Conflict could be avoided if we asked God for His help. Two examples of this: David in the psalms when pursued by Saul and his army; the National Day of Prayer preceding the Dunkirk evacuation. Let us seek God rather than engage in conflict, and let us sacrifice our desires for the sake of peace. Jesus sacrificed Himself for the sake of our peace with God.
